Southbridge makes investments in real estate debt and equity, middle market companies, receivables, leases and essentially all types of asset-backed securities and loans. The Company originates as well as acquires investments with a preferred investment size of $10 million to $100 million or more. Many of our investments are unconventional and are structured specifically to meet our clients individual needs. Southbridge invests in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, the Carribean, Europe and Japan. As a non-bank asset-based lender, we tend to have a greater risk appetite and don't require many of the financial covenants that banks typically require.
